SMSD Asst. Director / Instructor

Kristin is the granddaughter of Shirley McPhail and the youngest daughter of Edwina McPhail Worley. She began dancing at the age of 3 with the loving former SMSD teacher Miss Trish. Kristin now teaches Twinkle Tots, combos, BTJ, and tap at SMSD.

Kristin graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in early childhood education. After graduating, she taught 2nd grade in east Austin before arriving at the studio as a full-time dance teacher and assistant director. Kristin enjoys sharing her free time outdoors with her husband Winn, their boy James and pups Toddy & Tex.
