Troupe SMSDance is a performance team made up of SMSD dancers ages 8 through 18. Under the direction of Teresa Pearce and Connor Neill, Troupe SMSDance offers dancers a platform to showcase their talents at various events year-round. Additionally, Troupe performs their own captivating winter and spring shows. Joining Troupe presents an excellent chance to be part of a team and participate in performances throughout the year!

Requirements:

• Dance experience in ballet, tap, and jazz (completed BTJ I or higher)

• Take a minimum of 12 hours of dance at SMSD during the summer

• Be enrolled in weekly ballet, tap, and jazz classes during the dance year (additional optional classes in hip hop, lyrical, ballet, and pointe)

• Attend Saturday rehearsals during the dance year

• Total of 2.5-6 hours of dance per week (minimum) depending on team placement
