Dance Camp Director

Ava has been dancing since she was 3 years old. After dancing at different studios around Austin, she found a home at SMSD at age 14. Throughout high school, she performed with Troupe SMSDance and Company as well as assisting with dance classes, summer dance camps, and cotillion. 

After graduating from Anderson High School in 2021, Ava began teaching SMSD summer dance camps and working SMSD birthday parties (something she is particularly fond of). She is excited to begin her journey as summer camp director. 

Ava currently attends Texas State University and is a secondary education major. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing guitar and reading comic books.
