Instructor

Elise grew up in Austin, TX, and began studying dance at Shirley McPhail when she was 5 with Ms. Teresa and Ms. Laure as her first teachers. She began assisting classes at a young age and exploring the choreography world by teaching students of all ages. As a teenager, she performed with TroupeSMSDance and Company, and she graduated from the McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy in June 2022. In her time at McCallum, she served as a dance ambassador for the Fine Arts Academy and was also a member of the Blue Brigade, McCallum’s drill team, where she served as dance officer.

Elise now attends The University of Texas at Austin as a dance major. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, watching movies, and being in a book club.
