Marina Rusch

Instructor

Marina has loved dance as long as she can remember. Growing up in Greece, she did Greek folk dancing and was exposed to tap through Fred Astaire movies, which developed her love of tap. She joined the Ballroom Dancing Society while at university in Manchester, England, and achieved Gold Status in the jive, waltz, foxtrot, tango, cha-cha, and rumba.

She began teaching dance aerobics in 1995, and continues to do so in various forms. She is also a certified personal trainer.

Marina has been ballroom dancing with her husband, Paul, for the last thirteen years! She also takes tap classes at SMSD, and loves the friendships formed with her tap family.
